Local fans of Hong Kong’s premier lifestyle brand — Goods of Desire, can now look forward to shopping there without actually taking a four-hour flight; its first store has officially opened in Singapore at Central over the weekend.
The opening of Goods of Desire on 6 July 2012 saw the arrival of over 300 guests and VIPs checking out the 6,000-plus square feet of Asian heritage-themed store, with YES 933 DJ Peifen as the host for the evening.
Co-founders Douglas Young and Benjamin Lau were on site as well, to give us a first-hand experience to the concept of the brand, which is essentially to define and create a new Asian identity through its product and design.
We’re all in favour of the fusion between the traditional and modern, and especially loving the whole “DelayNoMore” concept gifts as well as the Double Happiness dinnerware.
The Goods of Desire Singapore flagship store will retail items in the home ware category, including furniture, dining, bath and bedding products; accessories, fashion for men and women; stationery as well as products from various collections.
Goods of Desire, 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, #02-08, Central, Singapore 059817
