"There are parties, and then there are parties at Amber Lounge," F1 race driver Lewis Hamilton once quipped. And truer words have never been spoken. Just last weekend, indisputably F1's most iconic and exclusive party returned to Singapore to thrill party-goers once again.
Those who managed to make it past the velvet rope (a mix of high-rollers, model-looking types and invited media) were entertained by not only UK R&B artiste Lemar -- who gave a smooth performance of his hit song "If There's Any Justice" as well as latest single "Invicible" -- but also by models who walked the the catwalk in La Perla's sultry 'Perfume of the Orient' lingerie collection. After the wispy slips of satin kimonos and seductive lace, it was the men's turn to strut their stuff -- six F1 drivers, including Sebastian Buemi, Sam Bird, Esteban Gutierrez, Jules Bianchi, Dani Clos and Ma Qing Hua heat things up a notch, smouldering in elaborate outfits by Brioni and Stefano Ricci.
And as if you needed any more proof that Amber Lounge is the party to be at every F1 season: Adam Levine of Maroon 5 was seen partying it up after the band's set on Saturday, and Sunday night welcomed F1 drivers such as Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber and Sergio Perez.
