Invited guests and selected media gathered at the Marina Barrage recently in support of luxury automobile brand Porsche. The occasion: the unveiling of the new generation Porsche Boxster and Boxster S, Stuttgart Auto's popular mid-engine roadster.
Like its predecessors, the newly revamped Boxster and Boxster S possess the same fuel efficiency and exceptional driving capabilities but with one notable change; comprehensive changes have been made to produce a sleeker silhouette and sportier appearance.
This is delivered mainly through shorter overhangs with forward-shifted windscreen, flatter silhouette and expressive edges. The hood has also been completely redesigned, now fully-electric with a convertible top compartment lid. The more streamlined silhouette however, has not compromised on space at all; the interior now offers more space to passengers.

"The new Boxster sets a new benchmark for open-top driving enthusiasts in Singapore," explains Karsono Kwee, executive chairman of Eurokars Group of Companies. He also promises "outstanding agility, performance and handling that will not disappoint the sporty Porsche enthusiast", thanks to the mid-engine layout of the roadster.
In true Boxster spirit, the new 2012 model also features Porsche's trademark performance and fuel efficiency. A revamp to the car's chassis has equipped the car with a lighter and more durable frame, giving the car greater driving dynamics. Depending on the model, the new Boxster has a fuel consumption rate of only eight litres per 100 kilometres, making it 15 per cent more fuel efficient.
Wiith its sleeker, streamlined body and sportier appearance, as well as increased efficiency, the new Boxster is the perfect combination of elegance and muscle.
