That is, until somebody like Joël Robuchon, the world's most-decorated Michelin star chef with a staggering 26 Michelin stars to his name, hits town with not one, but two of his highly-lauded restaurants L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Joël Robuchon Restaurant, set to open 28th April (yes that's tomorrow!) at Resorts World Sentosa. After all, it's not everyday that a living legend in the culinary world decides to grace the country with what has been fondly described as "the magic of Robuchon".

With 22 restaurants spanning ten cities across the globe, Mr Robuchon has since earned himself a series of accolades, including the The Laurent Perrier 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award at The S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards, making him one of the most revered French chefs of our time.
This venture - first in South East Asia! - promises to be his most exciting yet, marking the first time both his famed restaurants are located at a joint, custom-built premise, giving guests the unprecedented choice of two unique Robuchon dining concepts at each visit.

The ninth Atelier in the world by Chef Robuchon, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Resorts World Sentosa follows the stunning black and white colour scheme that draws focus on its tapas-style cuisine.

Designed by famous French design house, Pierre Yves-Rochon, Joël Robuchon Restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa is dressed in mainly beige tones and neutrals, creating a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere.
Both restaurants will showcase French haute cuisine and creations inspired by local ingredients and culture, and guests can look forward to tasting the ‘magic of Robuchon’—simple dishes cooked with the best and freshest ingredients available, using precise Robuchon-developed techniques. And if the very first round of media tastings were anything to go by, be prepared for a gastronomical experience that can only be described as exquisite.
