But don't just let the vodka in it go to waste! To complement the launch of ABSOLUT ILLUSION, the bartenders of ABSOLUT have come up with three ABSOLUT ILLUSION signature drinks – Elevated Screwdriver, Mystic Martini and ABSOLUT Turn.
"The innovative cocktails for ABSOLUT ILLUSION follow the same concept and reinvent classic cocktails," explains ABSOLUT VODKA brand ambassador Bjron Olsson.
"For instance, the addition of Absinthe-infused olives in Mystic Martini draws on the deep sense of mystery that surrounds Absinthe; the Elevated Screwdriver plays with the sense of taste, teasing the tastebuds with bubbles by layering sparkling wine over a classic screwdriver; and ABSOLUT Turn looks like a straight-up vodka on rocks, but surprises those who are sweet-toothed by tingling the taste buds with rock candy syrup."

Elevated Screwdriver
1 part ABSOLUT VODKA
3 parts orange juice
1 part sparkling wine
Pour ABSOLUT VODKA and orange juice over ice in a long drink glass. Layer the sparkling wine on top, carefully pouring it into the glass. For better result, use a barspoon.
Mystic Martini
9 parts ABSOLUT VODKA
1 part Absinthe
Stir ABSOLUT VODKA with ice. Spray or pour absinthe in cocktail glass and swirl the glass. Strain the chilled vodka into the absinthe-coated glass and serve with a green olive.
To add a little more mystery, use an absinthe infused olive.
How to make absinthe infused olives:
Add olives to one part Absinthe and one part water. Let it the mix stand for at least one day.
ABSOLUT® Turn
1 part ABSOLUT VODKA
1 spoon of flavoured rock candy syrup
Mix ABSOLUT VODKA with ice and the zest of two lemon peels and one orange peel. Strain combination over fresh ice and one teaspoon of rock candy syrup into rocks glass. Stir to perfection.
How to make flavoured rock candy syrup:
3 parts sugar
1 part water
Orange peel
1 vanilla stick
Heat water and dilute one part sugar in water to make a syrup. Add the zest of one orange and one stick of fresh vanilla. Let the mixture sit for 24 hours, then discard the zest and add two parts more sugar. Bring liquid to a slow boil, then let cool.
