Review: Studio M Singapore

Plus! A 2D1N stay giveaway in one of their lofts
Studio M Singapore is created with the idea of stylish comfort in mind, with loft-style living concept as the key.

With the constant lack of time to spare for most working executives in, not only Singapore, but many other cities in the world, it's evident that weekend staycations have become a popular trend for locals to recharge and rejuvenate.

Located in the ever-bustling Robertson Quay is the latest hotel by Millenium & Copthorne Hotels -- Studio M. A hit with locals and tourists alike, Studio M is Singapore's first fully loft-inspired hotel. In other words, guests can expect to walk into a two-storey room where the bed is tucked on either the first or second level.

Read on to find out how you can stand a chance to win a 2D1N stay at Studio M Singapore!

The Room

Studio M is set within Robertson Quay, and is minutes away from the Central Business District (CBD) area as well as Orchard Road.

It's a refreshing start to your stay if you've never done a loft-style living before, in a hotel at least. Ranging from studio to patio lofts, Studio M is all about an urban escape with three-metre high ceilings and modern amentinites, separate work and rest areas, mp3 docking stations and more.

Ranging from only 15 to 22 square metres, the whole idea of the lofts is to save space. But rest assured that comfort is not being compromised at any cost, with a cosy queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, separate bathroom and shower all well fitted within the room. The main emphasis is about being minimalistic and chic.

Our favourite part of the whole loft concept is the comfort of the bed, which will pretty much keep you glued for the rest of the day, perfect for that needed rest.

Dining and other facilities

TaKe, The Deck at level two of Studio M provides a perfect "under-the-stars" venue for alfresco dining, with a 25-metre lap pool on the same level.

While Robertson Quay is a wine & dine haven, with Brussel Sprouts, Brasserie Wolf, Wine Connection and so much more for food fanatics alike, Studio M houses three casual dining areas for those just looking to stay in.

Espressamente illy is an Italian cafe located at the lobby of Studio M, providing espresso coffees and all day dining, while TaKe, The Deck is an alfresco diner located on level two for tapas and cocktails. This is where guests can get their breakfast fix as well.

Also, shared among three Millenium & Copthorne Hotels is the complimentary shuttle service that provides transport to areas within the city, including Suntec City Convention Centre, Great World City, Orchard and Clarke Quay.
