In celebration of Burberry Body's first anniversary, the label has introduced a special limited edition rose gold design, designed specially by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. And with such a milestone, the bottle is aptly celebratory, multi-faceted in a gorgeous rose-gold hue that gives it a jewel-like sophistication.
Beneath the fancy exterior however, the fragrance falls into familiar Burberry territory, a warm and sexy fragrance that exudes effortless sensuality, much like the face of Burberry Body, Rosie Huntington-Whitley herself.
The scent, woody and slightly musky, is a surprisingly fresh one that would probably appeal to even the fussiest of perfume-wearers. Top notes include fresh green absinthe, peach, and freesia, while sandalwood, rose, and iris notes form the heart. The base notes are the most prominent and long-wearing, consisting of a woody cashmere, creamy vanilla, musk and amber.
The limited edition Burberry Body Eau de Parfum Rose Gold comes in 60ml and 85ml bottles, retailing at S$130 and S$170 respectively, and will be available from September 2012.
