Saturday Night movies continue at ION Orchard, as part of the series of free outdoor movie screenings for shoppers and visitors; the first of its kind at an Orchard Road mall.
Shoppers have enjoyed family favourites ‘Ice Age 3’ and ‘Horton Hears a Who’ in the past year, plus popular blockbusters like ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’ and ‘Avatar’.
First started in conjunction with the Singapore Tourism Board’s late night shopping festival in February 2010, the movies have proved a popular attraction, with shoppers and passers-by often stopping to watch the night’s fare on the mall’s giant LED façade.
